Seasonal Tips: Vata Season

As we moving deeper into fall, or vata season, it is important to avoid cold drafts, especially on the head. Wear a hat and dress appropriately. The weather becomes dryer and windier. It is good to avoid eating too many raw salads and move more towards warm soups which are soothing and balancing as it becomes colder. Do warm sesame oil massage to the body several times a week is balancing. It is a good time to start carrying a thermos with warm herb teas.

With the changing of the seasons it is good to do a mild seasonal purification. Using the herbal combination Elim Tox for several weeks is beneficial. This is available from me upon request.
